PAULS VALLEY, Oklahoma - Steven Allen Silva of Pauls Valley passed away April 8, 2023 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 31 years.

Steven was born May 31, 1991 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Juan Manuel Silva and Lahoma J. Blackwood Silva.

He was a member of the Catholic faith. He attended Pauls Valley schools and was a proud Panther football player, baseball player and ran track and was a wrestler. Earlier he played on the Blue Jays and Grasscutters.

He enjoyed the outdoors with his sports, he also loved to fish, enjoyed family cook-outs - and especially loved his Aunt Victoria's cooking as well as traveling to Mexico. Steven never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Dorothy Blackwood; his Papa, Rusty Blackwood; and Grandfather Ismael Silva Alvarado.

He is survived by his parents, Lahoma and Juan Manuel Silva; grandparents, Ma Belen of Zacatecas, Mexico; children Leland Marston, Steven Allen Silva Jr., and Gabriel Mason Silva; his brother, Eric Silva; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends; as well as two special friends, Rick and Melinda, and Albert - their dog.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Matthew Owens, Dereck Owens, Jon Blackwood, Martin Silva, Jose Silva, and Mayo Silva. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Silva and Chris Owens.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Nerio Espinoza.

Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
