Norma  Simpson
Norma Jean Simpson of Oklahoma City passed away October 28, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years.
Norma Jean Bracksieck was born August 17, 1929 in Davenport, Oklahoma to Hesta (Campbell) Bracksieck and Aultie Edward Bracksieck.
She and Eugene "Gene" Simpson were married on Valentine's Day, 1948. Norma worked many years as a dental assistant with Dr. Mark Wilson.
Pauls Valley has been her home since 1953. She was a doting mother to her only child, Linda Louise Simpson Albright. Norma attended the Beaty Baptist Church. She loved gardening, playing piano, singing in the church choir, card games and scaring people. She will be remembered for her love of the Lord, servant's heart, strong work ethic and sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aultie and Hesta Bracksieck; husband, Eugene Simpson; brother, Charles Edward Bracksieck; sister, Nadine Robinson; and grandson, Ryan Albright.
Her surviving family include her daughter, Linda Simpson Albright of Edmond, Okla.; 4 grandchildren - Dr. Todd Albright and wife Michelle, Yvette Richardson, Lisa Shipley and husband Chad, and Tracy Albright; 7 great-grandchildren - Lane, Lindsay, Cash, Brooke, Joshua, Luke, and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
