Bettina Walker Huddleston
Bettina Walker Huddleston passed away on the 1st of January, 2020 at her home in Paoli amongst loved ones.
She was born on September 22nd of 1952 in Oklahoma City to Howard and Bessie Walker.
The majority of her childhood years were in Pauls Valley, where she attended school from kindergarten through her senior year. In 1973 she received her bachelor's degree from East Central University, and later attained two master's degrees in education and counseling respectively.
She worked in education for more than 37 years, the majority of that time in Pauls Valley.
Tina was passionate about cooking, reading, and especially loved spending time with her granddaughters. She greatly enjoyed the family farm where she and her husband have resided for close to 32 years.
Bettina is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Bessie, as well as her two brothers, Ray and Jim Tom.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 35 years, Paul Huddleston; daughter Jacqui Huddleston-Cooper, son-in-law Chris Cooper, and granddaughters Maeve and Moira Cooper.
A private gathering of close friends and family will be held to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bettina's name to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
