Wade's Story

Wade Allen Parks of Foster, Oklahoma was born on June 2, 1964 in Oakland, California to Bruce and Micheline (Leohmann) Parks and passed from this life at his home on Friday, May 12 at the age of 52 years.
Wade grew up in Norman and worked at Great Territory OK in Norman as a cook. His Grandpa taught him to cook. His grandparents and mother were from France.
He then joined the U.S. Air Force. After leaving military service, he worked at Boeing in St. Louis, Missouri and upon his return to Oklahoma, he worked at Speedy G's west of Elmore City.
Wade collected knives, hats, watches, and Zippo lighters. He enjoyed watching and supporting the OU Sooners and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Wade taught others to "stand up for yourself" and he educated everyone by offering his advice collected from his own life experiences which ended with him saying "do it better!" Wade was a very unique person.
Survivors include his brothers Bruce Parks and Nick Johnson and his sister, Alexandra Wilson, and 6 grandchildren.
