Tammy Leigh Black of Asher, Oklahoma was born to Elmer Lee Hill and Joan (Gossage) White on July 30, 1958 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and passed from this life on February 17, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years. Tammy grew up and attended school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She made her home in Florida, and later moved to Farris, Oklahoma. She and her husband Tracy have lived in Asher, Oklahoma for the past 17 years. Tammy worked as a waitress for the past seven years. In her spare time she enjoyed drawing, poetry, and embroidering. Mrs. Black is survived by her husband Tracy of the home; mother Joan White of Elmore City, Oklahoma; her son Colton Long of Farris, Okla.; 3 brothers: Kenny White and wife Jackie of Elmore City, Oklahoma, Kevin White and wife Mindy of Elmore City, Oklahoma, and Terry Hill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 sisters: Cristy Bloodworth and husband Don of Elmore City, Oklahoma, Kathy Allison Morris and husband David of Houston, Texas, Brenda Church and husband Billy of Foster, Oklahoma; special cousin as sister, Loetia Bone Rankin; and 4 grandchildren. Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her daughter Mindi Lee Lambert, father Elmer Lee Hill, and stepfather Dewayne White. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 in the St. Louis First Baptist Church with Brandon Leslie and Lester Robbins officiating.
