Robbie's Story

Robbie Lynn Cook of Norman, Oklahoma was born to Jack and Pearl (Saltkill) Cook on October 8, 1964 in Lindsay, Oklahoma and passed from this life on July 18, 2017 in Foster, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years.
Robbie grew up and attended school in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He also attended Rose State. Robbie served his country in the U.S. Army.
On April 20, 1994, he married Daphana "Dee" Noah in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Robbie worked as a cabinet maker. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, playing guitar, music and reading. Robbie was baptized in the First Freewill Baptist church in Norman, Oklahoma in 2000.
Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Daphana "Dee" Cook of the home; daughter, Julie Cook of Norman, Oklahoma; stepmother, Sylvia Cook; 2 brothers: Richard Cook of Edwardsville, Kansas, and Steve Cook and wife Phyllis of Elmore City, Oklahoma; 2 sisters: Debra Alexander of Thorndale, Texas, and Laura Dudley of Checotah, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Pearl Cook; mother-in-law Rose Noah; sister-in-law Katy Cook; brother-in-law Tommy Alexander; nephew Christopher Sharber; and niece April Dudley.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Elmore City, Oklahoma with Joe Terrell officiating.
