Kevin's Story

Kevin Lee Wallace, of Pauls Valley, passed away January 9, 2017 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 47 years.
Kevin was born December 27, 1969 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Marvin Edward and Ruby Mae (Amos) Wallace. He grew up in Sulphur and attended Sulphur Schools. For many years, he worked at Martin Fertilizer and Equipment and later at the Artesian Hotel in Sulphur. On February 14, 2001, Kevin Lee Wallace and Dolly Marie Baker were married in Pauls Valley. He was a member of the New Hope Church in Sulphur.
Kevin was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Wallace, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Ben and Era Wallace; maternal grandparents, Peter and Delilah Amos; and his mother-in-law, Jo Ella "Sue" Burns.
Surviving family include: his wife,  Dolly Wallace of the home; 2 daughters and their husbands, Darla and Joe Simmons of Sulphur; Lisa and David Corpeno of Pauls Valley; ten grandchildren; his parents, Marvin and Ruby Wallace; seven brothers, sisters & their spouses, Evan and Gaylene Wallace of Davis; Tracy and Antoine Colungo and Lance and Shelby Wallace, all of Sulphur; Richard Wallace of Tulsa; Chance Wallace of Sulphur; Ladonna and Jerrod Carnell of Lindsay; and Rena and Mario Castillo, of Grand Prairie, Texas; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Wallace, Tony Colungo, Lance Wallace, Chad Colungo, Chance Wallace, and Pete Amos.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Steve Wall and Pastor Vincent Baptist. Interment will be at Mt.
