Freddie Ray Ross of Pauls Valley passed away June 25, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years.
Freddie was born April 2, 1948 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Wilburn Calvin and Gracie Loraine (Wilkerson) Ross. He was raised in this area and Pauls Valley has been his home most of his life.
Freddie is a 1966 Pauls Valley High School graduate. He furthered his education by attending the University of Oklahoma; graduating in 1975 with a degree in pharmacy. During his career he worked in various pharmacies throughout southern Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army National Guard.
He and Cathy Sue (Gilbert) Dalton-Ross were married August 23, 2013 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Gracie Ross; his wife, Cathy Sue Dalton-Ross; and uncle, Paul Ross.
Surviving family include stepdaughter and her husband, Chasidy and Clayton Bratcher of Pauls Valley; his grandchildren Teagan and Trey Bratcher of Paul Valley; his uncle, Billy Ross and wife Naomi of Pauls Valley; 4 sisters in law: Cynthia Collom-Gilbert of Ardmore, Debra Key of Overbrook, Carolyn Gwin of Tulsa, and Janice Cantrell of Gainesville, Texas; 1 brother in law, Ricky Gilbert of Ardmore; numerous cousins, including Sylvia Short of Oklahoma City, and special friends, Virgil Page and Tanya Young.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance, officiated by Rick Short.
