Cathy Sue Dalton-Ross of Pauls Valley passed away September 16, 2014 in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years.
Cathy was born January 6, 1957 in Leon, Oklahoma to Dallas Dean and Leota Odessa (Buckhanon) Gilbert. She attended elementary school in Leon and Turner High School in Burneyville, Oklahoma.
Cathy (Gilbert) Dalton and Freddie Ray Ross were married in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on August 23, 2013. She was a landlord with her husband, Fred, and was a member of the Leon Baptist Church.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Leota Odessa and H.P. "Pete" Hunt and Dallas Gilbert; and by 5 brothers: Thurman Gilbert, Calvin Glen Gilbert, Carol Gilbert, Johnnie Gilbert, and Jimmie Gilbert; a niece, Stefanie, and a nephew, Glen Gilbert Jr.
At the time of her passing, her surviving family included her husband, Fred Ross of Pauls Valley; one daughter, Chasidy Dawn Bratcher and her husband Clayton of Pauls Valley; two grandchildren, Trey Bratcher and Teagan Bratcher of the home; three sisters: Carolyn Gwin of Tulsa, Debra Key of Overbrook, and Janice Cantrell of Gainesville, Texas; and two brothers, Kenneth Gilbert of Healdton, and Ricky Gilbert of Ardmore.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance, officiated by Rick Short.
