Billy's Story

Billy Eugene Rolen of Pauls Valley passed away March 30, 2016 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years. Billy was born November 2, 1939 in Landis, Arkansas to Robert and Gussie Beulah (Chadwick) Rolen. He was raised in the Landis and Leslie, Arkansas area. Billy served in the United States Army; his tour of duty was in the early 1960s. His wife, Roni, preceded him in death. He was, later, married to Susan L. Williams-Rolen in Mannford, Oklahoma on June 16, 2010. Billy was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Mannford Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. Retiring from a career as a construction foreman, he and his wife Susan Williams-Rolen moved from Bristow to Pauls Valley where they have made their home for the past three years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Beulah Rolen; his wife, Roni Rolen; one brother and three sisters. Surviving family include his wife, Susan L. Williams-Rolen of the home; children - Billy Rolen and wife Shana of Weatherford, Texas, Sandy Rolen and her children Rudy Sparr and wife Carol of Midwest City, Cheneena Culp and husband Keith of Sand Springs, Mike Sparr of Tulsa, and Bobby Williams and wife Stacy of Plano, Texas; grandchildren Ezequiel Soria, Nora Rolen, Sarah Maurer, Stacy Vincent, Ben Culp and Sam Culp; his mother-in-law, Marbel Hillier of Midwest City; sisters and brothers-in-law - Kathy and Max Clark of Bristow, Rita and Darrell Logan of Pauls Valley, Patty and Alan Burton of Midwest City, Judy and Doug Sanders of Ardmore, and Barbara and Darrell Williams of Duncan; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance.
