Betty's Story

Betty Jane Amparano of Lindsay, Oklahoma was born to Marvin and Bonnie (Goodman) McBride on April 5, 1938 in Salinas, California and passed from this life on August 27, 2016 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years.

Betty grew up and attended school in Salinas, California. In 1973, she made her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before moving to Lindsay, Oklahoma in 1978.

She loved birds, animals, collecting stamps and coins. Betty loved her children, grandchildren and family. Betty loved caring for others in her community and especially her family.

Mrs. Amparano is survived by her husband Ernest of the home; 2 sons: Joe Epperson of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and Erik Amparano and wife Angie of Elmore City, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren: Jason Champion, Rebecca McKibbin, Bonnie and Rachel Epperson, Zack and Haley Burks, Davry and Darian Amparano; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Amparano was preceded in death by her daughter, Melody Rebecca McGirt; parents Marvin and Bonnie McBride; and sister, Virginia Rudolph.
