William's Story

William A. "Bill" Mynhier of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to A.C. and Leona (Hall) Mynhier on May 14, 1933 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma and passed from this life on February 1, 2018 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years.
Bill grew up and attended school at Sasakwa, Oklahoma. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
On June 2, 1956, Bill married Janice R. Liles in Sasakwa where they made their home. Bill worked as an inspector of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for 34 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Mynhier is survived by his wife, Janice of the home; 2 sons: Gregg Mynhier and wife Betty of Ocala, Florida, and Brent Mynhier and wife Paulette of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; daughter, Elisa Mynhier of Cedar Hill, Texas; 3 grandchildren: Brandon Mynhier and wife Casey of Benton, Arkansas, Chantal Mynhier and Logan of Richland, Washington, and Ross Mynhier and wife Jessica of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and 2 great-grandchildren: Kaleb Mynhier and Easton Mynhier.
Mr. Mynhier was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. and Leona Mynhier; and sister, Gladys Spence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Rev. Wesley Martin officiating.
