Vivian's Story

Vivian Mae Crawford of Norman, formerly of Pauls Valley, passed away September 23 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years.
Vivian was born November 11, 1932 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Charlie and Nettie (McClain) Rhodes and was one of 12 children. She spent most of her life in the Pauls Valley area. She was a graduate of Pauls Valley High School.
Vivian was married to Harvey C. Crawford on December 15, 1951. Vivian and Harvey were married for 28 years before Harvey's death on November 7, 1978.
Surviving family include her three children - Janice West and husband Louis of Claremore, Oklahoma, Debbie Coffey and husband Steve of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and Randy Crawford of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren Tracie Del Torto and husband Chris of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Shawn Coffey and wife Nina of Norman, Oklahoma, Patience Crawford of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Chloe Crawford of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren Macy and Austin Del Torto of Ardmore, Oklahoma; sister, Geneva Bare of North Bend, Oregon; nephew Larry Rhodes and wife Annette of Paoli, Oklahoma; former sister-in-law Wauthena Rhodes of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; former brother-in-law Frank Crawford of Moore, Oklahoma; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives along with many friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents Charlie and Nettie Rhodes; her brothers Ray, Billy, Allen, Grant, Calvin and Leslie; and her sisters Lula, Fannie, Sylvia and Zilpha.
The family requests that flowers be optional. Memorial donations for Vivian Crawford are suggested to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Disease Foundation or any foundation of your choosing.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Pavilion.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
