Troy's Story

Troy Eugene McKee of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to George W. and Mary McKee at their home near Satterwhite, Oklahoma on December 23, 1924 and passed from this life on December 11, 2017 at the age of 92 years.
Troy grew up and attended school at Satterwhite and has been a long time citizen of Elmore City. He was an Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War after which he returned home to marry his wife of 69 years, "Willie Nell Cassell."
Troy worked as a town marshall and Garvin County deputy and farmed well past the age of retirement. He had a true passion for reflexology and loved to share his knowledge.
Mr. McKee is survived by his wife, Willie Nell "Cassell" McKee; son, Tem McKee and wife Diane of Elmore City; granddaughter, Penny "McKee" Davis and husband Coby of Elmore City; great-grandsons Tristan and Tucker Davis; grandson, Scott Shreve of Elmore City; great-grandaughters Mya and Brooklynn Shreve; and sister-in-law. Leona McKee.
Mr. McKee is preceeded in death by his parents George and Mary; brothers Earl, Harold and Bobby McKee; and his daughterk Nelda Jean "McKee" Shreve.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Elmore City Cemetery.
There will be a luncheon for family and friends at 11:30 a.m. at the Elmore City Baptist Church.
Troy's wife "Wille Nell" will be accepting condolences at their family home in Elmore City.
