Tonda LaDawn Dixon, 55, a resident of Wynnewood, Okla., was born on April 23, 1962 in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Buster Bruce Tomlinson and Sylvia (Blay) Tomlinson. She passed away at her home in Wynnewood on December 5, 2017.
Tonda grew up and graduated in Wynnewood and then went on to work at Love's Country Store, as secretary at Wynnewood Middle School, then as a pharmacy tech at Pauls Valley Walmart.
She married Jackie Dewayne Dixon on March 20, 1981 in Wynnewood and they spent their lives together in Wynnewood.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Buster Bruce Tomlinson in 1985 and Sylvia Tomlinson in 2012; and her mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Ray Dixon.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie Dewayne Dixon of their home in Wynnewood; daughter and son-in-law, Jaki Lawane and Cody Travis of Wynnewood; grandchildren Braxton and Maddex; sister and brother-in-law, Chan and David Berry of Wynnewood; 2 half sisters and spouses - Pat and Buddy Mulkey of Davis, Okla., and Jo Ann and Mike Jagers of Noble, Okla.; half brother, Billy Morris of Wynnewood, Okla.; brothers and sisters-in-law - Skip and Gay Dixon of Wynnewood, Okla., Diedra and Ward Wixon of West Point, Iowa, Brenda and Richard Hamilton of Lewisville, Texas, and Sharon Kimbro of Wynnewood, Okla.
Services were held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Wynnewood at 1 p.m. Burial followed at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood.
