Sherry Diane Kraft of Pauls Valley was born to Richard Felan and Wanda Irene (Williams) Hudson on November 22, 1959 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She passed away January 19, 2018 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years.
She spent her youth growing up in Maysville, Oklahoma at the family place riding dirt bikes and running around with her numerous cousins.
Sherry attended the Maysville Public Schools where she was a member of the FFA and the marching band; graduating in 1978. Her passion and pure talent were playing the drums and later passed that tradition down to her boys.
She spent her career serving the people of Pauls Valley and Garvin County as a dispatch supervisor and reserve officer for the Pauls Valley Police Department. She later started her career with the Garvin County Assessor's Office where she held the title of first deputy assessor and retiring with 24 years of service to the people of Garvin County.
She enjoyed more than life itself her two boys and taking care and supporting them in all they did. Her jewel of her life was being Meme to her two grandsons and having sleep-overs at her house.
Ms. Kraft is survived by 2 sons - Jerry Kraft and wife Brittany of Pauls Valley, and Joshua Kraft of the home; 2 grandchildren. Brantley Drew Kraft and Ryker Allen Kraft; 1 brother, Terry Felan; and 3 aunts - Mary Williams, Lola Pierce, and Nokie Box.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Felan and Wanda Hudson; 1 son, James Allan Kraft; 1 brother, Jerry Felan, and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Sam Williams and Mr. and Mrs. JJ Felan.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Bro. Tim Carr.
Interment will be at the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
