Ruby LeMay Ruby “Kate” LeMay of Pauls Valley passed away June 15, 2016 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years. Kate was born August 6, 1926 in Oklahoma to George P. and Della J. (Coursey) Stidham. She attended Walker School where she played basketball; her team made the state championship two years in a row. The Walker area has been her home most of her life. She was a homemaker and loving mother; an avid gardener and won numerous ribbons at the flower and vegetable shows at the Garvin County Fair. She was preceded in death by her parents, G.P. and Della Stidham; sister, Louis Rains; her son, Lanny LeMay; and brothers, Kenneth Stidham and Bob Stidham. Surviving family include one daughter, Carol Mitchell and one son and his wife Billy and Annette LeMay, all of Pauls Valley; one sister, Mildred Wallace of Norman; five grandchildren - Blake LeMay, Jillian Carter, Pamela Evans, Patricia Kirtley and Paula Easterling; seven great grandchildren - Caleb, Lauren, Andrew, Caroline, Taylor, Tisha and Trenton; as well as seven great-great grandchildren, Kaden, Kailee, Conner, Lexie, Luke, Audrey and Avery. Pallbearers will be Caleb Wade, Michael Evans, Andrew Wade, Blake LeMay, Ray Robbins, and Homer Pickett. Honorary bearers will be Trenton Schritter and Cason Pickett. A visitation for family and friends will be Friday evening, June 17 at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Terry Clayton and Chaplain Tim Duncan.
