Robert Perry Coffey, 71, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 in Tulsa, Okla. Robert was born May 14, 1946 in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Irvin and Lily (Pruitt) Coffey.
He was in the grocery store business for 30 years, including 20 years as store manager of Doc's Market in Bixby, Okla., before starting his own small engine repair shop. Bob's Small Engine was open for 14 years, then he retired in 2008. He served in the 45th Infantry Division of the Oklahoma National Guard. He was a member of Eastland Baptist Church for 44 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Coffey of the home; three sons - James Earl Coffey and Jason Michael (Donna) Coffey, all of Tulsa, Okla., and Chad Matthew (Shanna) Coffey of Wylie, Texas; four grandchildren - Andrew John, Max Robert, Kate Elizabeth, and Emily Ann Coffey, all of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, John (Joyce) McKinley of Lawton, Okla. and Earl Ray (Suni) Coffey of Yukon, Okla.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, Okla.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 134 Parker St., Bradley, Okla.
