Rex Monroe Chrisco, 74, of Wichita, Kansas, loving husband, father and grandfather, retired Learjet, Mass Properties engineer, and avid postage stamp collector and dealer, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Visitation is 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 with family receiving friends 5 to 7 p.m. at Smith Mortuary in Haysville, Kansas, 7031 S. Broadway.
A funeral service is at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 20 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2801 W. 15th St. N., Wichita.
Rex was born February 6, 1943 at Pauls Valley. He was former scoutmaster of Troup 893, Haysville and a SAWE Honorary Fellow.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Eva Chrisco.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Erna; sons Richard (Teresa) of Wichita, and Edward (Christal) of Haysville; daughter, Charlotte Townsend (Tom) of Omaha, Neb.; sister, Norma Scott of Choctaw, Okla.; and grandchildren Monroe, Matthew, Ravhanna, Savhanna and Megan.
