Randall (Randy) Dean Cozad of Oklahoma City passed away October 12, 2017 in Durant at the age of 62 years.
Randy was born September 1, 1955 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Cleo and Mary Ruth (Adkins) Cozad. He was raised in the Pauls Valley area most of his life. He later moved and made Oklahoma City his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo Cozad and Mary (Adkins) Cozad; his sister, Francis Sue Evans; nephew, Charles Dewayne Evans; nephew, Chad Dee Hamilton; and niece, Lisa Suzette Evans.
Surviving family include his 3 daughters - Maranda Blankenship of Pauls Valley, Shana Blankenship of Davis, and Cara and Alex Carlock; two grandchildren, Grayson and Raylee Carlock, all of New Port News, Virginia; his sister, Sandra Hamilton and Frankie of Pauls Valley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Randy received a call, a sort of offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in years. His new mission takes him to a place where he can enjoy music, laughter and love forever.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the pavilion in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley. Pastor Bruce Ford officiating.
