Phyllis Gail Parker, 72, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma passed away peacefully March 4, 2018, surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She was born September 14, 1945.
Phyllis was a loving, kind and generous wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was a homemaker who loved her life on the farm. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, who all knew her as "Mimi."
Phyllis enjoyed living next door to her mother and best friend, Lois Work, commonly known by everyone as "Grandma," for many years at the farm. The love of her life was her husband Richard who spoiled her with love and never left her side in her final days.
Phyllis was very giving. She opened up her home to anyone who needed love and a helping hand. She had close, close friends that she loved and adored. Billy and Betty, she loved her times spent with you.
Phyllis also took great care of her many animals. You knew you were special if she named a cow after you. She will be missed by all.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Lois Work; brother Joe Driskill; and sister Sherry McGammon.
She is survived by her faithful husband Richard Parker; son Rick Parker and wife Valarie; granddaughters Rachel and husband Cameron Phillips and Rebecca Parker; daughter Sheila Hays; grandsons Taylor and Ethan Hays; sister Connie Wauhob and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Reverend Jeremiah Smith officiating.
