Phillip Robert Pratt, 69, returned to The Lord June 19, 2016. Born April 25, 1947 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, he was the only child of Robert Oren Pratt and Stella Pauline (Landers). He was a lifetime resident of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, graduating from high school in 1965. He was an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow, All State football player and received a football scholarship to the University of Oklahoma. He was elected president of Sigma Nu social fraternity. While in college, he married Frann Ibach who became his wife of 47 years. They were married in her hometown of Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1968. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Banking and was awarded distinguished military graduate by the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, Military Intelligence, United States Army. After returning to Pauls Valley, Phil joined his father in business. He inherited his father’s entrepreneurial spirit, engaging in various businesses including commercial and real estate development, restaurants and fast food, newspaper in Arkansas, National Association of Securities Dealers (now FINRA) licensed broker, investment advisor, supervisor and named top options trader in Oklahoma, adjunct professor at Oklahoma Community College, NASD arbiter and expert witness for some of the largest law firms in America. As a young man he was a proficient pilot, talented pianist and guitarist. He also loved to snow ski and snorkel. Phil would say that any accomplishments in his younger years pale in comparison to the last season of his life. After being miraculously healed of a stroke 15 years prior to his return to heaven, Phil devoted his life and energies towards serving the body of Christ through his healing and deliverance ministry. He became a licensed minister, formed a non-profit corporation, (Great Commission Enterprises), served as chaplain to Mission Generation Ministries, and provided spiritual council to many servant-leaders in the faith. These were his most joyous and fulfilling years as he was humbled and awed by how people were touched by the Lord through his ministry. He spent countless hours ministering to people from all over the world, always committed to bringing the freedom and healing made available to us through Jesus Christ. Phil was preceded in death by his father, Robert Oren Pratt. Phil’s remaining family include his mother, Stella Pauline (Landers) Pratt; his wife Frann; daughters Jennifer Anne Pratt of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Jessica (Pratt) Johnson and husband Gregg of Norman, Oklahoma and two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Judah Johnson and other extended family members. A celebration of life service will be held at Higher Ground Church on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 1 p.m.
