Phillip "Phil" Ellsworth Haddock, 73, passed away August 5, 2017 at Pauls Valley General Hospital following a short illness. Phil was born September 11, 1943 to Raymond and Gladys Haddock in Skiatook, Okla., and grew up in the Tulsa area.
He served four years in the Marines in the 1960s. He married Modean Roberts, the love of his life, in 1983. They lived in Tulsa, Okla., a few years and moved back to Pauls Valley, Okla.
Phil was a very friendly, loving person who never met a stranger. He loved country music, fishing and working on old cars.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Garland Roy Haddock; two sisters, Doris Howard and Betty Doll; and two brothers, Perry Haddock and Floyd Haddock.
Survivors include his lovely wife, Modean Haddock, of 34 years; one daughter, Christine Cleveland of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four sisters: Judy Sampson and her husband Darrell of Coweta, Okla., Edna Miller and husband Dave of Tulsa, Okla., Peggy West and husband Ken of Tulsa, Okla., and Rhonda Sagel and husband Roy of Claremore, Okla.; seven brothers: Charles Haddock of Tulsa, Okla., Dan Haddock and wife Elsie of Dallas, Texas, Bill Haddock and wife Jeanne of Kellyville, Okla., Ronnie Haddock of Kellyville, Okla., Dennis Haddock and wife Bobbie of Broken Arrow, Okla., Larry Haddock and wife Cherrin of Claremore, Okla., and Paul Haddock and wife Naomi of Broken Arrow, Okla., three stepchildren: Velma Shoals of Reno, Nevada, Sharon Mills of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Aaron White of Pauls Valley, Okla.; one sister-in-law, Louise Clark of Garland, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.
His wish was to be cremated and no service.
Phil, we will all miss you so much. We loved you dearly.
