Nancy Carol Gill of Pauls Valley passed away June 17, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years.
Nancy Carol Hansford was born March 31, 1939 in Denver, Colorado to Henry Eugene and Lola Inez (Dilley) Hansford. Nancy grew up in Denver, Colorado.
On October 19, 1956, she and David Carl Gill were married in Denver, Colorado. They moved to make Pauls Valley their home on May 15, 1977.
She worked as a personnel administrator in the trucking Industry and retired in 2006.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lola Hansford; parents in law, Carl and Marguerite Gill; 4 sisters and husbands: Pearl & Don Marvin, Dixie and Jack Tobin, Lola Lee and Bill Johnson, and Dorothy and Don Hutton; 1 brother, David Hansford; 2 sons, Carl Gill and Frederick Gill; 3 sons in law: Dwight Ward, Jimmy Blevins, and Robert Driskill; 4 grandsons: Jesse James Gill, Travis Cody Gill, Xavier and Jeren Lemos, and many precious babies that God felt too precious for this earth.
Surviving family include her husband of 60 years, Dave Gill of the home; 5 daughters: LaDonna Gill, Mischelle Reames, both of Elmore City, Virginia Jones of Logotee, Indiana, Tracey Gill of Lindsay, and Sheila Driskill of Wynnewood; 2 sisters: Judith Harkins of Irwin, Pennsylvania, and Bonnie Bartosh of Denver, Colorado; 24 grandchildren: Carl and Michelle Gill of Chickasha, Carol Hildago, and Jaymie Gill and Chris Giroux, all of Lindsay, James and Amber Gill of Pauls Valley, David and Beverly Davis of Antioch, Jerrina Brand of Maysville, James Ron Blevins of Chandler, and Melinda Blevins of Pauls Valley, Bobby and Lora Reames of Elmore City, Helen and Less Hays of Foster; Tammi and Jerry McClendon of Elmore City, Katelyn and Telly Laurence of Pauls Valley, Shaylyn and Chris Brainard Soto of Elmore City, Rebecca and Martin Rojas of Wynnewood, Lindsay Gill of Oklahoma City, and Derrick Gill of San Andreas, California; 50 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Matt Neal and Love Baptist Church.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
