Mary Ann Stephen of Maysville, Okla., passed away December 19, 2016 at the age of 71. She was born August 26, 1945 in Mangum, Okla., to Willard and Juanita (Smith) Duran.
Mary welded for years with her husband, Ernie. They owned their own welding business. She went to work for the post office, and retired after 10 years of service.
Mary enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She went to church at the Abundant Love Fellowship in Maysville, Okla.
She loved attending all of her grandchildren's school events, especially the football games.
Mary is survived by her husband, Earnest Stephen of Lexington, Okla.; 1 daughter, Belinda Mitchell of Choctaw, Okla.; 2 sons, Neal Stephen of Noble, Okla., and Matthew Stephen of Maysville, Okla.; 8 grandchildren — Allyson Sarosy of Choctaw, Okla., Elaine Mitchell of Lakeland, Fla., Jackson, Stephen of Maysville, Okla., Axel Stephen of Maysville, Okla., Aidan Stephen of Maysville, Okla., Jade Stephen of Maysville, Okla., Mylah Stephen of Maysville, Okla., and Skylah Stephen of Maysville, Okla.; 1 great-grandson, William Sarosy of Choctaw, Okla.; 1 sister, Kay Myers of Enid, Okla.; and 1 brother, Larry Duran of Moore, Okla.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Juanita Duran; and 2 brothers, Gerald and Vernon Duran.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Abundant Love Fellowship in Maysville, Okla. Interment is to follow at Maysville Cemetery, 1005 12th St., in Maysville, Okla.
Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore, Okla.
