Martha Irene Driskill Clark of Pauls Valley passed away November 7, 2017 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.
Martha Irene Driskill was born February 12, 1936 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Paul David and Ena Elsie (Eppler) Driskill.
Pauls Valley has been her home most of her life. After high school graduation she earned her Licensed Practical Nursing at the Byng, Oklahoma LPN program and was a charge nurse for over 25 years.
Irene was married to Walter Dale Clark on October 16, 1989 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church.
Irene was also a 40 plus year member of the Eastern Star in Pauls Valley, and a charter member, 3rd Regent of the Chimney Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul David and Ena Elsie (Eppler) Driskill; her husband, Walter Dale Clark; one son, Kalan Baker; and two sisters, Dorothy Barnett and Juanita Baker.
Irene's surviving family include one son and wife, Kevin and Misty Baker of Pauls Valley; her daughter and husband, Susan and Jay Duty of Inola; grandchildren Dustin Hale Baker, Dylan James Baker, Christina Enright, Gena Brewer, Brooklyn Dawn Agent, and Blair Duty; one brother and wife, David and Margaret Driskill of Okmulgee; a brother-in-law and wife, Rufus and Peggy Clark of Gainesville, Texas; and lifelong friend, Mona Wright of Pauls Valley; as well as a host of nieces, nephews a cousins.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Martinez. Interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
