Johnny Mack McKinley of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to LeRoy and Nettie (Christian) McKinley on September 3, 1929 in Katie, Oklahoma and passed from this life on September 16, 2017 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years.
Johnny grew up and attended school in the Elmore City. He graduated high school in Watsonville, California and later served his country in the U.S. Army. On March 4, 1950, Johnny married Betty Marie Davis in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Johnny worked in auto body repair and motorcycle sales. He was a member of the Pauls Valley Fire Department and Suzuki Travelers Motorcycle Club. In his spare time he enjoyed motorcycles, gardening, and playing cards. Johnny taught others to do the right thing first and take care of people in need.
Mr. McKinley is survived by his son: Brock McKinley and wife Kathy of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; daughter: Cindy Blevins of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; brother: Lee Bob McKinley of Davis, Oklahoma; sister: Winnie Mae Johnson of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; 1 niece and 3 nephews.
Mr. McKinley was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 2012; son, Aaron Brian McKinley, who passed from this life the same day as his father; parents, LeRoy and Nettie McKinley of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Beaty Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Biswell officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery under direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
