Jeanette Marie Turner-Miles of Wynnewood, Oklahoma was born to Tom Andrew and Annie (Moore) Turner on June 2, 1939 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and passed from this life on July 23, 2016 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years. Jeanette was the second of four girls to a family of 18 kids. She attended school at Lincoln High in Wynnewood. On June 2, 1970, Jeanette married Earl C. Miles in Gainsville, Texas. She worked as a seamstress for Kellwood and as a janitor at Pauls Valley and Davis schools, retiring in 2005. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, singing, and going to church. The highlights of her life were singing with her husband at church, visiting with her grandchildren and enjoying food. The most important thing she taught others about life was to love one another. Mrs. Miles leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Earl C. Miles of the home; sons: Bill Turner, David Turner, Kendall Miles and Vincent Turner; daughters: Shirley Williams, Patricia Turner and Lisa Miles; brothers: Claude Turner, Robert Turner, and Ray Charles Turner; sister: Doris Smith; 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Annie Turner, 12 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Wynnewood, Oklahoma with Rev. Everice Johnson officiating.
