Janet Karen Hefley of Blanchard, Oklahoma was born to Edd and Alta Faye (Turnbull) Teel on January 22, 1960 in Meade, Kansas and passed from this life on March 12, 2017 in Moore, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years.
Janet and Cody Hefley were married on June 13, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked at Glowlight, the Pauls Valley State School and was a hairdresser.Her most important role was as mother, homemaker, and wife. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing and arts.
The highlights of her life were her daughters. Janet taught others to be humble, kind, giving, and to love animals.
Janet is survived by her husband, Cody Hefley of the home; daughters: Sierra Hefley and Kaylee of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Tracie Robertson of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; 3 brothers: Jimmy Richardson, Eric Teel and Shawn Teel; and 3 sisters: Janice Santiago, Deborah Williams and Vicki Day.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Edd and Alta Faye Teel; 2 brothers: Billy and Gary Richardson; and 2 sisters: Carolyn Logan and Terri Pharoah.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley.
Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
