Geneva Sinor Muse of Pauls Valley passed away April 9, 2016 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years. Geneva was born the 15th of 16 children on December 31, 1925 in Kemp, Oklahoma to Thomas Benjamin and Elexie Dall (Key) Sinor. She was raised in Kemp and attended Kemp Schools and was valedictorian at her high school graduation. She furthered her education by attending Hill Business College where she earned an associate’s degree in business. Geneva lived for a time in Durant then in 1985 moved to Wynnewood. She attended the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood and taught Sunday School there for many years. Geneva retired from the Pauls Valley State School where she worked as a Secretary. About six years ago she moved from Wynnewood to make Pauls Valley her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Benjamin and Elexie Dall Sinor, and 14 brother and sisters. Surviving family include her sons Lonnie Muse and his wife Gloria of Denton, Texas, Darwin Muse of Rogers, Arkansas, and Rev. Mike Muse and his wife Ruthie of Pauls Valley; six grandchildren - Jayston Muse of Pauls Valley, Vanessa Muse of Louisville, Texas, Stevi Deramus of Ada, Tyrell Muse of Denton, Texas, Darah Martin of Rogers, Arkansas, and Savannah Smith of Corinth, Texas; 12 great grandchildren; one sister, Juanita Williams of Durant; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Monday, April 11, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Jerry Wells. Funeral services will also be conducted in her hometown of Kemp, Oklahoma on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kemp Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Roger Speers.
