Donnie Ray Graves of Mustang, Oklahoma was born on October 12, 1943 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He left this earth to be with the Lord on October 23, 2017 at the age of 74 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eunice "Pete" Graves, and mother, Mary Elizabeth Graves; a brother, Eunice Earl Graves; and a nephew, Mark Graves.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Graves; daughter Donita Graves; sister-in-law, Shirley Graves; nephews Stan and Brock Graves; niece Kim Ross; and very many dear friends.
He was raised on a farm outside of Elmore City. He graduated from Elmore City High School in 1961. He began his career at Burford Company and then Aero Commander. He spent 32 years in the Oklahoma Air National Guard serving his country and traveling the world.
After retirement, he began a new chapter in his life by serving as a Sergeant-At-Arms for the Oklahoma House of Representatives where he was their sound technician.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Elmore City, Oklahoma.
