Barbara Williams Aday of Wynnewood passed away October 2, 2017 in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital at the age of 59 years.
Barbara Jane Williams was born the fourth child of Eugene O. "Gene" and Martha L. (Duncan) Williams on July 2, 1958 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
She grew up and attended schools in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. After graduation she enjoyed life to the fullest before settling down and becoming an active member of the Valley Christian Church of Pauls Valley. She worked for Whitebead School as a cook. Later, she worked as the photographer at Wal-Mart for many years.
She enjoyed fishing, dancing, family-time, drinking coffee on Friday nights with her friends, singing and cooking tamales.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Martha Williams.
Her surviving family include 2 sons: Jamey Williams and wife LaTressa of Norman, and Johnathan Richardson of Kentucky; 1 daughter, Misty Harrison of Pauls Valley; 17 grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren on the way; 2 sisters: Phyllis Fetgatter and husband Dean of Bixby, and Sondra Flowers of Wynnewood; 3 brothers: Jerry Williams and wife Debbie of Davis, Merrell Williams and wife Jewell of Pauls Valley, and Don Williams and wife Tammie of Davis; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Bruce Ford and Bro. Jim Richardson. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
